When we last had Abbey and Ryan in front of our lenses for their engagement session, the weather had just started to get really cold, so getting to work with them when it was warm and sunny was a nice change of pace. We started our day with the gorgeous and bubbly Abbey, and the very handsome and stoic Ryan at the Loew’s Philadelphia Hotel. We also used the hotel’s incredible views from 33rd floor for a beautiful and sweet first glance, before heading over to City Hall to get some iconic Philadelphia imagery in their photos. Keeping with their theme of all things classic Philadelphia, we headed to the Second Bank of the United States to take a few more portraits of Abbey and Ryan, as well as some with their bridal party.
We followed up the beautiful day with a perfect evening spent at the Ballroom at the Ben. While we’ve photographed many wedding receptions at the Ben, this was our first time getting to experience a ceremony there as well. The balcony that runs around the entire ballroom offered some really interesting vantage points, and we were amazed at Finley Catering‘s ability to flip the space so quickly while the guests enjoyed cocktail hour.
It was really hard to narrow it down with so many great moments to choose from, but here are a few of our favorites so far!
