Engagement session at Brigantine Beach, New Jersey with Stephanie & Cory

Although Stephanie and Cory now live in North Carolina, Stephanie really wanted to get some engagement photos at the beach in Brigantine, since it’s near her hometown where Cory proposed to her last July. We planned to meet them near 26th street in Brigantine, as it’s a special place for them where they often spend time together while they are visiting her family.

Unfortunately due to time constraints with Stephanie and Cory not being in the area often, combined with a summer that’s been filled with pop up storms, we ended up photographing during a dreary day between periods of rain. It ended up to our advantage though and we are loving how the blissfully empty beach, and soft ethereal lighting lend a quality to the pictures that make it seem as if Cory and Stephanine were the only people for miles of beach, which other than us they probably were!

We had an awesome time goofing around on the beach, dodging rain drops, and I’m so excited for their upcoming wedding in a few short weeks.
