The evening before Katie & Anthony’s engagement photo session was scheduled, we were nervously watching the weather and getting worried that our session was going to get completely rained out. Katie had her hair and make-up trial scheduled, and we were up against incoming cold weather, so there wasn’t an option to reschedule. Luckily they had reserved space at Bryn Athyn Cathedral, so we knew we’d at least have somewhere dry to photograph, and by the end of our conversation we actually started to get excited about possibly venturing out in to the rain for some fun rain photos.
In the end, we got one of the most gorgeous fall days to date, and we pushed literally every second of photos out of it that we could. I noticed the storm rolling in and wanted to wrap up the session, but I just had to try for a few more last minute shots. We pushed it another 10-15 minutes before saying our goodbyes and the last image is what the car windshield looked like within 30 seconds of shutting the door, so I’d say we timed it just right!
