This engagement session was in an interesting location, the Philadelphia Navy Yard.  It turned out to be the perfect location for creating a mix of the standard engagement session style photos— what I would consider just easy going, lighthearted natural outdoorsy images, and then mixing in some more industrial looking backgrounds at the Navy Yard and more modern looks with the lighting. That’s what Sherry and Joe had in mind for their engagement photos, and it was pretty fun just walking around with them capturing a variety of looks for their portrait session.

I’ll probably try to schedule more shoots for this location, it was pretty cool.  Also, I’ll be looking forward to working with this couple again at their wedding next year at one of my all time favorite venues— Glen Foerd Mansion on the Delaware.  Anyway, scroll on down the page to see a few of my favorite images from their engagement session!
