On Saturday we joined Beth and Pete in Olde City, Philadelphia to photograph their wedding.
Wil and I started our day off separately with the Bride and Groom at the Wyndham hotel on 4th and Arch where they were getting ready just down the hall from one another. Beth and Pete also opted to have a first look across the street on the beautiful grounds of the Arch Street Friends Meeting House. We had just enough time for a few portraits with Beth’s sister and maid of honor Margaret and Pete’s brother/best man Tristram before heading to their ceremony and reception location, the MAAS BUILDING in Northern Liberties.
The Guests assembled, and Beth walked down the aisle to live music performed by The Raven and The Writing Desk, who’d flown in from Denver to perform for this moment. We also witnessed a really touching and unique take on a Quaker wedding ceremony, in which Pete and Beth were married by everyone in attendance to their ceremony.
After that everyone had a beautiful time enjoying the perfect weather, and the yummy food from the Local215 food truck, before dancing the night away.
