I was so lucky to play a part photographing Chloe & Kyle’s proposal in Ridley Creek State Park over the weekend.  Kyle and I planned out everything a few days before and I think everything went perfectly!

After I covered Chloe’s reaction to this surprise proposal, I was able to use the rest of the time to shoot a few ‘engagement session’ style portraits around the immediate area.

I love photographing couples in this location in Ridley Creek State Park, it’s actually where my parents got married many many years ago before I was a thing, so I always have had this special connection to this spot.

When I photograph a proposal, I usually do a one-hour photo session. The hour is just enough time for me to get into position (20 minutes before they arrive) to cover the event, and also do a little mini engagement portraits session after.
