If I could describe Mary Kate and Oliver’s wedding in just one word, it would most definitely be FUN! From the time I arrived at Mary Kate’s parent’s house in West Chester, PA until the end of the night, everyone was beaming from ear to ear.
Since Mary Kate and Ollie’s international love story started while she was in London attending school, they really wanted to incorporate some English wedding traditions in to their day, hence the adorable hats on the bride and bridesmaids and the very handsome kilts the groom and groomsmen wore.
This also led to a hilarious tongue and cheek U.K. vs. U.S. rivalry throughout the day, with moments like Mary Kate’s father grabbing the American Flag and waving it proudly as he led his daughter down the aisle, many cheeky stunts involving what was under those kilts that I can’t mention, and a father/ daughter first dance to “We are the Champions” by Queen.
Congratulations again to the wonderful couple, and thank you for letting us be a part of your beautiful day. I know your lives will be filled to the brim with love and laughter!
