We have been wanting to photograph at the Ironstone Ranch for a long time now, because we’ve seen some nice images online and lots of possibilities with all beautiful property that they have there. When we arrived we realized that it was probably better than we could have even imagined. Practically every square inch of the entire property is just ripe to take a photograph, so naturally as photographers we were definitely in our wheelhouse. Add to the mix that Ashley and Joey are awesome, and obviously enamored with each other, and the fact that we got great weather.
The wedding ceremony and reception were on the more intimate side, and since the wedding was on a Sunday afternoon it just led to a more relaxed mellow mood all around, which only further enhanced us feeling creative. Truly our biggest challenge of the day was just the nagging feeling that we were always missing some other great image in another spot because there were just so many amazing spaces to explore!
We hope we’ll get the chance to go back again soon, but for now we are loving these images we were able to capture with Ashley & Joey…
