Racheal and Dustin’s wedding day was just the right mix of planned and spontaneous. We had near perfect weather, although a tad warm, which led to our last second decision to take only bride and groom portraits at Valley Forge National Park, instead of the entire bridal party and familly as planned. We couldn’t have made a better call because it was awesome to let these two enjoy each other in such an intimate way in a beautiful setting, and even though we were at the National Memorial Arch, which is often pretty crowded, it miraculously cleared out for a bit.
When we returned the weather had cooled off and there was a perfect ceremony in the courtyard of the Sheraton Valley Forge. The planned events of the reception like the first dance, and parent dances, were elevated with a fog machine giving Racheal and Dustin’s first dance a dreamy quality, and intensely powerful moments of interactions between both the bride and groom and their respective parents.
We capped off the night with some photos of Racheal & Dustin in the courtyard cozied up near the fire pit, which was the perfect way to end a beautiful day.
