A couple of days ago, I met up with Rachel and Gene for their engagement session at Longwood Gardens. We wanted to create a set of images that felt carefree and natural, and not feeling too posed. We also just wanted to make a variety of different images so that they can pick their magic shot for their wedding invitations.
They were awesome to work with, very natural in front of the lens, and Longwood is looking beautiful right now. Keeping scrolling down to see some of my favorite pictures from their engagement session!
I love the way that this arbor forms a natural framing element that we could use for a simple background.
There’s just so many places that work well for engagement photo locations around Longwood Gardens, so we just kept moving from spot to spot.
It was time to head indoors for part of the shoot, but we found a couple of locations just outside of the Conservatory Building for a few more outdoor images.
Then we went inside for a few indoor shots…
It was starting to get dark so we went back outside to get a few more images before we ran out of light.
