We started the photo coverage for Erin & Tim’s wedding, with a first-look photo session on the hedge lined path behind Glen Foerd Mansion.
We had a few minutes to get some portraits of the happy couple before their family photos were scheduled, so we walked around Glen Foerd a little bit and made a variety of photos of Erin and Tim posing and just hanging out.
After that, we set up for some quick family and bridal party group photos on the steps and shaded areas behind the mansion.
Erin insisted on including her Grandmother in the bridesmaid party, how sweet!
Time for Erin and Tim to get married. All of their friends and family settled into their seats, anticipating the start of the wedding ceremony.
It was a beautiful wedding ceremony filled with many memorable moments. During their 20-minute wedding ceremony, I was mostly focusing in on the key moments with my favorite medium telephoto lens, the Canon RF 85mm f/1.2. I also had my 45mm tilt-shift lens on my side camera, to capture some interesting shots of the scene and some panoramas.
Cocktail hour was there on the lawn behind Glen Foerd. I took a look at the detail set up in the reception tent, and then snapped photos of the guests mingling and enjoying themselves outside.
It was then time to kick off their reception.
Next it was time for the Hora dance.
There were some wonderful toasts given by the bride’s father and sisters, and the groom’s bother.
With many of the night’s formalities in the books, at this point it was time for the band to get the dance party started.
Now that it was dark outside, I wanted to make a quick set of portraits in the low lighting around Glen Foerd. We just stepped outside of their reception tent for about 2 minutes to grab these shots.
One of Erin’s bridesmaids could really sing, she grabbed the mic and impressed everyone by hitting every note.
