I usually start a family portrait session with a posed group image, but this family specifically requested more natural, unposed and candid lifestyle images of themselves having fun in a park.

During the one hour shoot, we alternated between different groupings to create a variety of images, and even included a few engagement session style shots of  mom and dad.  They actually did their engagement portrait session here in this park before getting married, so it was meaningful to them to return with the whole family just a few short years later.

Overall, this was a really fun and natural family photoshoot, and I liked the easy going non-posed candid photos that we were able to capture.
