Stephanie and Mike are some of the most grounded, caring and genuine and easy going people we’ve ever met, and their wedding day could not have been nicer. Despite waking up that morning and traveling over to Glen Foerd with intermittent rain showers and very gray skies, the sun started to break out as if on cue just as we decided to step outside for a few outdoor portraits after their first look. After a brief hiatus back to overcast skies (accordingly just as we did the family portraits to make it even easier on the family and us) the sun came out to stay just in time for Stephanie and Mike’s ceremony on the lawn.
Other than the ceremony itself, the day was free of the usual formalities. They didn’t have entrances, first dances or cake cutting. What remained was pure joy, fun and celebration in one another and their awesome friends and family. We were honored to have been a part of this amazing day and can only hope the photos do it some justice!
