We had an absolutely incredible time bringing Tony and Jorge’s wedding vision to life in imagery. From the moment we met them, we knew working with Tony and Jorge would be a perfect fit. They loved our work and style, yet had a really clear vision of their own and were not afraid to throw us a lot of creative ideas. We always love when our clients trust us enough to document their wedding, but it’s brought to another level when we get a really good creative synergy going with them.
One of the first things Tony and Jorge mentioned was that they loved winter, and in particular a snowy backlit photograph we took that particularly drew them to working with us. They mentioned it many times it stuck out to them so much. Of course, since that just seems to be the way things like to work out, we had the snowiest winter we’ve had in years for the last few weeks, and then like clock work it all cleared up just in time for Tony and Jorge’s wedding. We didn’t even have any rain on the forecast to try and back light for them! And this is where the champagne came in 🙂 We were really hoping for a good spray with some back light, and I had this grand vision in my head of exactly how it would look. In the end, as also seems to be the case with life, the things we planned didn’t quite work out the way we wanted, but serendipitously the sweet moment we caught between Tony & Jorge (the last frame of this post) ended up being so much better than we could have ever expected…
