Wedding at the Old Mill in Rose Valley: Summer & Anton

Genava here writing again, and this past weekend we photographed Summer and Anton’s wedding.  You may remember their engagement session from a while back.   I started my day off with the ladies at a rustic inn called Alpenhof bed and breakfast in Media, PA. Summer, her Mom, sisters, bridesmaids and flower girls had all slept in the cottage off the main house and were just getting back from hair and makeup as I arrived. She and her girls hung out and had some fun as I took pictures of her details, and grabbed some shots of them in their matching getting ready attire before we put Summer in her gorgeous gown and cathedral length veil.

While I was having fun with the ladies, Wil was photographing Anton and his groomsmen in Center City Philadelphia. They were getting ready at the Marriott in downtown Philadelphia, and they all ventured out to take some group photos inside City Hall, and made a quick stop at a bar before heading to the ceremony location.

Their wedding ceremony was held at the Narberth Presbyterian Church, in Narberth PA and we were lucky enough to steal them away for a few minutes after the family portraits to take some photos in front of the stained glass window that sits at the back of the church above the choir loft.

We then headed over to the Old Mill in Rose Valley, a tucked away wedding venue just outside of  downtown Media, where we began a portrait session with them and their bridal party. After a few minutes we cut the bridal party loose to  enjoy cocktail hour, so we could focus on just Summer and Anton.

After a fun reception filled with very personalized details (many of which Summer had handmade herself) Summer and Anton were awesome enough to venture outside in the rain with us for one last round of photos.  Here’s some moments we loved:
